Obtaining an entry visa upon arrival

Individuals holding valid US passports or any of the passports of these countries (United Kingdom, People’s Republic of China, Russian Federation, French Republic, European Union countries, Canada, Switzerland, Australia, New Zealand, Japan and South Korea) are granted a visa to Iraq upon arrival through the border crossings (land, air, and sea) and the visa shall be valid for (60) days from the date of arrival, considering the general conditions related to the applicable health and safety conditions upon arrival.

Requirements: –

1. A valid travel document.

2. Fees ($75 in cash), except those of Iraqi origin, considering the submission of proof of Iraqi citizenship.

Effective March 1, 2025, citizens of the countries mentioned above are advised to apply for an e-visa before traveling to Iraq via the link: https://eservice.evisa.iq.
