Firstly: Commercial Documents

The legalization of all Commercial Documents in the Iraqi Consular Section must be pre-legalized by the Foreign and Commonwealth Office in addition to the Arab-British Chamber of Commerce. Except for the Certificate of Origin and the Invoice attached, which are both have to be legalized by the Iraqi Commercial Attaché in London.

Second: General Documents

All other General Documents have to be legalized by the Iraqi Consular Section provided that they had been pre-legalized by the Foreign and Commonwealth Office or Irish Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

For the legalization of Private Power of Attorney issued by the British solicitor firms, then the client must attend personally, and to ensure that the photos of both the representative and the client are fixed on the document of the power of attorney in addition to the client’s foreign passport number in order to check the identity.

Thirdly: Educational Certificates

Educational Certificates for legalization by the Iraqi Consular Section must be pre-legalized by the Foreign and Commonwealth Office /or Irish Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Iraqi Cultural Attaché in London.

Power of Attorney of Financial Nature:

To legalize the power of attorney issued by British law firms for the purpose of withdrawing money or buying and selling, the stakeholders (the client) must show up, and a written statement is made for him at the Consular Section,
