Ambassador of the Republic of Iraq in London Meets Marshal of the Diplomatic Corps at St James’s Palace

His Excellency Dr Salih Husain Ali Al-Tamimi, Ambassador of the Republic of Iraq to the United Kingdom, met with the Marshal of the Diplomatic Corps at St James’s Palace. During the meeting, the two sides discussed the longstanding and friendly relations between the Republic of Iraq and the United Kingdom, as well as ways to further strengthen bilateral ties between the two countries.

The meeting also addressed arrangements for a number of forthcoming Iraqi cultural events in the United Kingdom, aimed at showcasing Iraq’s culture and heritage and strengthening cultural ties between the Republic of Iraq and the United Kingdom.

Both sides emphasised the importance of continued cooperation and coordination in further strengthening bilateral relations and promoting cultural exchange between the two countries.
