Ambassador of the Republic of Iraq in London Meets President of the Middle Technical University

His Excellency Dr Salih Husain Ali Al-Tamimi, Ambassador of the Republic of Iraq to the United Kingdom, met with Professor Dr Wadhah Amer Hatem Al-Tamimi, President of the Middle Technical University, and Professor Dr Izzat Abdul Sattar Muzher, Dean of the Technical Medical Institute, Al-Mansour.

The meeting explored ways to strengthen academic and scientific cooperation with British universities, including opportunities to establish partnerships and facilitate the exchange of expertise in education and research, with a view to supporting the development of Iraq’s higher education institutions.

His Excellency the Ambassador reaffirmed the Embassy’s commitment to supporting Iraqi universities in building effective academic partnerships with their British counterparts and in benefiting from the expertise and capabilities of Iraqi academics and professionals in the United Kingdom.
