Ambassador of the Republic of Iraq to the United Kingdom Attends Creativity and Innovation Forum in London

His Excellency Dr Salih Husain Ali Al-Tamimi, Ambassador of the Republic of Iraq to the United Kingdom, attended the Creativity and Innovation Forum in London. The forum aimed to provide an effective platform for engagement with members of the Iraqi community, particularly the generation raised in the United Kingdom, and to showcase their expertise, talents and achievements. The event brought together a distinguished group of Iraqi engineers, innovators, businesspeople and young people from the United Kingdom and Iraq.

The forum featured an art exhibition with a humanitarian theme, as well as a ceremony recognising a number of leading figures in the fields of engineering and innovation, alongside several talented young Iraqis.

His Excellency the Ambassador delivered remarks in which he emphasised that creativity generates new ideas and perspectives, while innovation transforms those ideas into tangible outcomes and added value. He underscored the importance of supporting talented young people and innovators, addressing the challenges they face, and fostering an environment conducive to creativity and innovation.

His Excellency was accompanied at the forum by Dr Wissam Al-Freiji, the Embassy official responsible for expatriate affairs.
