Ambassador of the Republic of Iraq in London Meets Director of London Arabia

Ambassador of the Republic of Iraq to the United Kingdom, H.E. Dr Salih Husain Ali Al-Tamimi, met with Mr Omar Badour, Director of London Arabia. The meeting addressed a number of matters of mutual interest, including the Arab Women of the Year Awards and its role in celebrating outstanding Arab women and highlighting their achievements.

The meeting also discussed London Arabia’s activities in promoting cultural and commercial relations between the United Kingdom and the Arab world, as well as ways to highlight the achievements of Iraqi women and Iraqi professionals in the United Kingdom and involve them in initiatives and events organised by the organisation.

Both sides emphasised the importance of maintaining communication and strengthening cultural, community and commercial cooperation, in a manner that contributes to enhancing the presence of Iraq and its professionals in the United Kingdom
