Embassy of the Republic of Iraq in London Participates in the Windsor Dialogue 2026

The Embassy of the Republic of Iraq in the United Kingdom participated in the proceedings of the Windsor Dialogue 2026, held at Windsor Castle from 10 to 12 July 2026 under the theme “Preserving Faith: Lessons in Sustaining Diaspora Communities”. The event was organised by the AMAR International Charitable Foundation in cooperation with the International Center for Law and Religion Studies at Brigham Young University.

The conference brought together a number of parliamentary, religious, academic and diplomatic figures, including Mr Sadik Adam Al-Hassan, Member of the House of Commons and Chair of the All-Party Parliamentary Group for Iraq.

Participants reviewed Iraq’s experience in managing religious and social diversity, as well as the state’s efforts to strengthen social cohesion and support recovery from the effects of terrorism and conflict. Discussions highlighted a number of key initiatives, including the enactment of the Yazidi Female Survivors Law, reforms to educational curricula, and the role of the Supreme Religious Authority in Najaf in protecting the diverse components of Iraqi society and promoting social harmony.

The Embassy was represented at the event by Counsellor Miqdad Al Nouri
