Ambassador of the Republic of Iraq in London Receives the President of the University of Karbala and the Dean of the College of Computer Science and Information Technology

His Excellency the Ambassador of the Republic of Iraq to the United Kingdom, Dr Salih Husain Ali Al-Tamimi, received Professor Dr Sabah Wajid Ali, President of the University of Karbala, at the Embassy headquarters in London, accompanied by Dr Muwaffaq Kadhim Mohsen, Dean of the College of Computer Science and Information Technology at the University.

During the meeting, discussions focused on ways to strengthen academic and scientific cooperation between Iraqi universities and their British counterparts, as well as on the exchange of expertise in the fields of higher education and scientific research, particularly in the areas of computer science, information technology and artificial intelligence.

His Excellency the Ambassador reaffirmed the Embassy’s commitment to supporting the efforts of Iraqi universities to broaden cooperation with British academic institutions in a manner that contributes to the development of the higher education sector and the advancement of scientific research, while serving the shared interests of both countries.
