Ambassador of the Republic of Iraq in London Meets Head of the Embassies and International Organisations Unit at UK Visas and Immigration

His Excellency Dr Salih Husain Ali Al-Tamimi, Ambassador of the Republic of Iraq to the United Kingdom, accompanied by members of the Embassy’s Legal Section, met with Mr Tanup Gadhia, Head of the Embassies and International Organisations Unit at UK Visas and Immigration, part of the UK Home Office, at the Embassy premises.

During the meeting, the two sides discussed a number of issues of mutual interest, with particular emphasis on ways to facilitate visa procedures for Iraqi nationals, especially officials travelling to the United Kingdom on official assignments, businesspeople, diplomats and students. The discussions also focused on strengthening bilateral cooperation and facilitating official and professional visits between the two countries
