Military Attaché of the Embassy of the Republic of Iraq in London Visits the Royal Military Academy Sandhurst

The Military Attaché of the Embassy of the Republic of Iraq to the United Kingdom, Commodore Abdulhussein Alak Al-Maliki, visited the Royal Military Academy Sandhurst to follow up on the welfare and academic progress of Iraqi officer cadets studying at the Academy and to review their academic and military training performance. The visit formed part of ongoing efforts to strengthen bilateral cooperation between the Republic of Iraq and the United Kingdom in the military field.

During the visit, the Military Attaché met with the Academy’s training staff, who commended the outstanding performance of the Iraqi officer cadets. Academy officials praised their high level of competence, discipline, and exemplary performance across both academic and military training programmes.

The visit also included discussions on ways to further enhance joint cooperation in the field of military training, with a view to developing capabilities, exchanging expertise, and strengthening the professional partnership between the military institutions of the two friendly countries
