The Embassy of the Republic of Iraq in the United Kingdom participated in the Sixth Annual Cultural Festival 2026 organised by London Printing and Publishing House, held at the Irish Cultural Centre in London.

The Embassy was represented at the festival by Counsellor Miqdad Adeeb Jawad Al-Nouri, as part of its ongoing commitment to supporting cultural and intellectual initiatives that strengthen the presence of Iraqi and Arab culture abroad.

The festival attracted a distinguished audience of diplomats, academics, intellectuals, authors, media professionals, and members of the Iraqi and Arab communities. The programme featured a variety of cultural and artistic activities, in addition to the launch and signing of several new publications issued by London Printing and Publishing House.

The event also honoured a select group of intellectual, cultural, and media figures in recognition of their contributions to promoting Arab culture and enhancing its presence within diaspora communities. Furthermore, the festival provided an opportunity for academics, cultural figures, and media professionals to meet, exchange views, and explore ways to strengthen cultural and knowledge-based cooperation between Iraqi institutions and their British and Arab counterparts.

The Embassy’s participation reflects its continued commitment to supporting cultural initiatives that showcase Iraq’s rich civilisational heritage and reinforce its presence on the international cultural stage.
