Embassy of the Republic of Iraq in London Commemorates the Victims of the Speicher Massacre

The Embassy of the Republic of Iraq in the United Kingdom held a commemorative gathering to honour the victims of the tragic Speicher Massacre, attended by members of the Embassy staff, in remembrance of the innocent martyrs who lost their lives unjustly in one of the most heinous crimes witnessed by Iraq.
On this occasion, the Chargé d’Affaires ad interim, Counsellor Amer Abdulhussein Al-Fatlawi, delivered a speech in which he emphasised that commemorating this horrific crime reflects enduring loyalty to the sacrifices of the martyrs and reinforces the values of national unity and solidarity among the Iraqi people.
The gathering also included the recitation of Surah Al-Fatihah in memory of all Iraqi martyrs and in tribute to their sacrifices for the homeland. Participants prayed that Almighty God may envelop them in His infinite mercy and grant them eternal peace in His spacious Paradise, and that He may bless Iraq with security, stability, and prosperity
