The Ambassador of the Republic of Iraq to the United Kingdom receives the delegation of the Iraqi Ministry of Transport participating in the meetings of the Legal Committee of the International Maritime Organization (IMO)

The Ambassador of the Republic of Iraq to the United Kingdom, Mr. Muhammad Jaafar Al-Sadr, received in his office at the embassy in the British capital (London) on Thursday, 05/02/2024, each of:

  • Director General of the Administrative and Financial Department of the Iraqi Ministry of Transport, Mr. Ahmed Khalaf Bunyan.
  • Acting Director General of the General Company for Private Transport Management, Mr. Ahmed Karim Abdel Ayoub.

The meeting discussed a number of topics related to the transport sector in Iraq and ways of cooperation with the relevant British authorities. The meeting came on the sidelines of the visit of the delegation of the Iraqi Ministry of Transport to the United Kingdom to participate in the meetings of the Legal Committee of the International Maritime Organization (IMO), and to visit the British Hydrographic Office.

The meeting was attended by the Naval Attaché of the Republic of Iraq to the United Kingdom, Captain Mazen Al-Kaabi, and the International Maritime Organization’s file official, Mr. Alaa Al-Din Al-Nasiri.
