Ambassador Mohammad Jaafar Al-Sadr met with the UK’s newly appointed Military Attaché to Baghdad
On November 6th 2019, H.E. Ambassador Mohammad Jaafar al-Sadr received the UK’s newly appointed military Attaché to Baghdad, Brigadier McRae.
Upon assuming his new assignment, Brigadier MacRae, highlighted the UK’s commitment to strengthening the existing relationships and to further encourage and facilitate Iraq-UK defence cooperation.
Ambassador Mohammad affirmed Iraqi government’s keenness to develop bilateral relations between the two countries in a wide range of areas, especially in the fields of military and security. In attendance was the Iraqi military attaché to London, Brigadier General Khalaf Denif.
