Iraqi Embassy in London hosts an event on improving the investment and reconstruction climate in Iraq
The Embassy of the Republic of Iraq in the United Kingdom hosted an event to highlight the potentials of investment in Iraq.
Mr. Ibrahim Al-Masoudi, the President of the Iraqi Economic Council was invited to the event along with a number of businessmen and other companies representatives who live in the United Kingdom
H.E. Ambassador Saleh Al-Tamimi reaffirmed the importance of the strategic geography of Iraq that make it a highly – attractive destination for investors, outlining the Embassy efforts to streamlining the current visa process for businessmen
In addition H.E. stressed the importance of promoting the private sector engagement in the investment opportunities and strengthening the state’s economy in line with the improvement in the security situation.
Mr. Ibrahim Al-Masoudi expressed his deep gratitude to the Iraqi Embassy for hosting this event. Explaining how personal development could lead to a society improvement. In addition he praised the Iraqi government role in regulating the public – private partnership law.
In attendance were the Deputy Chief of Mission Ms. Jwan Hassan, Counselor Ahmed Alnakash, and the Iraqi Commercial Attaché in London Hana Jawad Kazim.
