Iraqi Chief of Staff on official Visit to The UK

H.E. Ambassador Saleh Al-Tamimi, attended the annual Royal Military parade held by the British military forces, in honor of the Chief of Staff of the Iraqi Army, staff General Othman Al-Ghanmi during the later official visit to the United Kingdom,

The welcoming ceremonies were held in honor of the decisive role of the Iraqi army in defeating terrorism.  

Ambassador Saleh also attended the meeting between the Chief of Staff of the Iraqi Army and his British counterpart General Sir Nick Carter that took place at the British Ministry of Defense.

 It is worth noting that a memorandum of understanding that will cover different aspects of cooperation and coordination on military and intelligence between the Iraqi ministry of Defense and the British Ministry of Defense will be signed soon.
