Ambassador Saleh Al-Tamimi meets with Iraq team leader at the FCO

On July 26, 2019 Ambassador Saleh Al-Tamimi met with the Iraq team leader Mr. Ayaz Nawab from Foreign & Commonwealth Office, at the Iraqi Embassy in London.

Ambassador Saleh reviewed recent developments and progress in the security situation in Iraq, and the importance of reinforcing bilateral relationships between Iraq and the United Kingdom.

Ambassador Saleh and Mr. Ayaz Nawab discussed the importance of maintaining frequent exchanges of high level visits between Baghdad and London.  Ambassador Saleh highlighted that Iraq offers lucrative business prospects for international investors and that its economy is poised for expansion, especially within the reconstruction sector
