Meeting of the Ambassador of the Republic of Iraq in the United Kingdom Dr. Saleh Al-Tamimi with the Archaeologist Rana Ibrahim.

The Ambassador of the Republic of Iraq in the United Kingdom, Dr. Saleh Al-Tamimi, met with Rana Ibrahim, Archeologist of Iraqi origin who works at the Museum of the History of Science at Oxford University. During the meeting she discussed issues related to Ms. Rana Ibrahim’s efforts to promote the project of  “Iraqi Women’s Art and War”. The project’s aim is to Express the hope of Iraqi women and to draw lessons from the suffering of war to create security and peace. 

At the end of the meeting, H.E the ambassador praised the efforts exerted to enhance the role of Iraqi women abroad and to create bridges of communication with their fellow women back home and that the embassy looks forward to cooperate with the museum and the Iraqi talents to implement programs that promote and develop cultural events and talents
