Ambassador Mohammad Jaafar Al-Sadr met with University College London UCL representatives

H.E. Ambassador Mohammad Jaafar Al-Sadr received Professor Eleanor Robinson, Head of the History Department at University College London (UCL), director of the Nahrein Network, and Dr. Mehiyar Kathem researcher and coordinator of the Nahrin Network.

During the meeting they discussed the network’s activities in Iraq during the past stage, and its contribution to provide training to the Iraqi academics and researchers in the United Kingdom, through workshops and scholarships.

The program aims at integrating the country’s development and heritage also works to prepare Iraqi specialists in the field of archaeology.

Ambassador Mohammad highlighted the Embassy’s great keenness to support these ambitious humanitarian and cultural projects, and reiterated that it will continue to support efforts aims to develop skills and capabilities in this field.
