At the invitation of Archbishop Toma Dawod, leader of the Syriac Orthodox Church in London, the Ambassador of the Republic of Iraq to the United Kingdom, Dr. Saleh Al-Tamimi, attended a ceremony held by the Syriac Orthodox Church in London celebrating the holy day of the Patriarchat of Martoma and the 25th anniversary of the Assumption of Archbishop Toma Dawod Priesthood.

During the ceremony, His Excellency met Bishop Sefirios Hawa, President of the Syriac Orthodox Church in Baghdad and Basra, and His Holiness Archbishop Nicodemus Dawod, leader of the Syriac Orthodox Church in Nineveh and the Kurdistan Region
