نائب رئيس مجلس الوزراء وزير الخارجيَّة يلتقي نظيره الفنلنديّ في بروكسل
التقى نائب رئيس مجلس الوزراء وزير الخارجيَّة فؤاد حسين، مع نظيره الفنلنديّ السيّد بيكا هافيستو، على هامش إجتماعات الدورة الثالثة لمجلس التعاون العراقيّ-الأوروبيّ في بروكسل، وبحضور وكيل الوزارة لشُؤُون العلاقات الثنائيَّة ورئيس دائرة أوروبا وسفير جُمْهُوريَّة العراق لدى الإتحاد الأوروبيّ.
وجرى خلال اللقاء التباحث بشأن تعزيز التعاون الثنائيّ بين البلدين وتبادل وجهات النظر بشأن المواضيع ذات الاهتمام المُشترَك والتطورات على الساحة الإقليميَّة والدوليَّة وتداعيات الأزمات الراهنة وتاثيراتها على منطقة الشرق الأوسط والعالم وفي مقدمتها الأزمة السوريَّة والحرب الروسيَّة-الأوكرانيَّة، والقضية الفلسطينيَّة وسُبُل تعزيز تهدئة الأوضاع بعد تصاعد التوتر في الأراضيّ المحتلة.
وأشاد السيّد الوزير بالدور الفعال للدول الأعضاء في الإتحاد الأوروبيّ ومن ضمنها فنلندا ودعمها للعراق في مُختلِف المجالات.
من جانبه، أكَّد وزير الخارجيَّة الفنلنديّ التزام بلاده بتعزيز التعاون الثنائيّ وفقًا لبنود إتفاقيَّة الشراكة والتعاون بين العراق والإتحاد الأوروبيّ، مُشيداً بدور العراق البناء في تهدئة الازمات في المنطقة.
