إستقبل نائب رئيس مجلس الوزراء وزير الخارجيَّة فؤاد حسين، يوم الأربعاء المُوافق 2023/2/22، سفيرة الولايات المُتحدة الأمريكيَّة لدى العراق السيّدة آلينا رومانوسكي.
وجرى خلال اللقاء مُناقشة نتائج الزيارة التي أجراها السيّد الوزير إلى واشنطن والسُبُل الكفيلة لمُتابعة المُخرجات المُنبثقة من نتائج الزيارة، وأكَّد الجانبان على ضرورة خلق آلية مُشترَكة لمُتابعة النتائج المرّجوة من الزيارة.
هذا وتطرق الجانبان إلى موضوع توقف المُباحثات الإيرانيَّة-الأمريكيَّة، وخاصةً بعد زيارة وزير الخارجيَّة الإيرانيّ السيّد حسين أمير عبداللهيان إلى بغداد يوم الأربعاء.
وناقش اللقاء مُقترح القرار المُقدم من قبل البرازيل إلى إجتماعات الجمعية العامّة للأمم المُتحدة حول الحرب الروسيَّة-الأوكرانيَّة.
