Ambassador Adnan Al-Mhalhal Meets with the Ambassador of the United Arab Emirates to Malaysia.

His Excellency Mr. Adnan Mhalhal Al-Mhalhal, Ambassador of the Republic of Iraq to Malaysia, met on Thursday, 10 September 2026, with His Excellency Dr. Mubarak Al-Dhaheri, Ambassador of the United Arab Emirates to Malaysia, during a visit to the Embassy of the United Arab Emirates in Kuala Lumpur.

At the outset of the meeting, the two sides exchanged warm greetings and courtesies. H.E. Dr. Mubarak Al-Dhaheri extended his sincere congratulations and best wishes to H.E. Ambassador Al-Mhalhal on the commencement of his official duties as Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Iraq to Malaysia, wishing him continued success and every achievement in the discharge of his diplomatic duties.

For his part, H.E. Ambassador Al-Mhalhal expressed his deep appreciation and gratitude to the Emirati Ambassador for the warm welcome and generous hospitality, reaffirming his pride in the deep-rooted and historic fraternal relations between the Republic of Iraq and the United Arab Emirates.

The two sides discussed bilateral Iraqi-Emirati relations and ways to further strengthen them, as well as prospects for enhancing joint cooperation across various fields. They also exchanged views on the importance of promoting joint Arab action in Malaysia and strengthening coordination and consultation among Arab diplomatic missions, in a manner that contributes to advancing Arab interests and enhancing Arab presence and cooperation with the Malaysian side.

The meeting was attended by Counsellor Ahmed Ghanim Abdul Jabbar of the Embassy of the Republic of Iraq to Malaysia.
