Ambassador Adnan Mhalhal Al Maajoon Meets with the Ambassador of the State of Palestine to Malaysia.

The Ambassador of the Republic of Iraq to Malaysia, H.E. Adnan Mhalhal Al Maajoon, met on Monday, 7 September 2026, with H.E. Ambassador Jehad Alqedra, Ambassador of the State of Palestine to Malaysia, during an official visit to the State of Palestinian Embassy in Kuala Lumpur.

Ambassador Alqedra welcomed His Excellency, wishing him every success in representing the Republic of Iraq in the most honorable manner, fitting the deep human heritage, rich civilization, and glorious history that define Iraq.

For his part, Ambassador Al Maajoon expressed his deep appreciation for the congratulations, as well as the generous hospitality and warm reception.

He described the meeting as an important opportunity to express deep pride in the depth of the fraternal and historical relations uniting the Republic of Iraq and the State of Palestine and their brotherly peoples. He also reaffirmed the great importance Iraq has always placed, and continues to place, on the Palestinian cause. Furthermore, both sides exchanged views on several issues of common interest.
