Ambassador of the Republic of Iraq to Malaysia Meets with His Saudi Counterpart.

His Excellency Ambassador Adnan Mhalhal Al Maajoon met on September 4, 2026, with the Ambassador of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia to Malaysia, His Excellency Mr. Osamah Al-Ahmadi, during an official visit to the Saudi Embassy in Kuala Lumpur.

Ambassador Al-Ahmadi congratulated his Iraqi counterpart on assuming his official duties, affirming the Saudi Embassy’s readiness to enhance bilateral cooperation and coordination.

For his part, Ambassador Al Maajoon expressed his appreciation for the warm reception, emphasizing the depth of the fraternal Iraqi-Saudi relations. He underscored the importance of strengthening cooperation and coordination in areas of mutual interest, as well as following up on the affairs of the Iraqi community in Malaysia, Thailand, and Brunei Darussalam.

Both sides reaffirmed the importance of continued communication and alignment of positions to serve shared interests and advance Arab diplomatic efforts and collaboration in Malaysia.
