Ambassador Mr. ADNAN MHALAL Al-MAAJOON Meets Dean of the Arab Diplomatic Corps to Malaysia

The Ambassador of the Republic of Iraq to Malaysia, H.E. Mr. Adnan Mhalhal Al Maajoon, met on Thursday, 3 September 2026, with the Ambassador of the Republic of Yemen and the Dean of the Arab Diplomatic Corps accredited to Malaysia, Dr. Adel Mohamed Ali Ba Hmaid, during an official visit to the premises of the Yemeni Embassy in Kuala Lumpur.

The Ambassador Dr. Adel Mohamed Ali Ba Hmaid extended his congratulations to Ambassador H.E. Mr. Adnan Mhalhal Al Maajoon commencement his duties as Ambassador of the Republic of Iraq to Malaysia, expressing his wishes for his success. For his part, Ambassador Al-Maajoon expressed his appreciation for the warm congratulations.

The meeting covered ways to enhance cooperation, coordination, and consultation among Arab diplomatic missions accredited to Malaysia to strengthen collective Arab action. Furthermore, both sides discussed prospects for developing Arab- Malaysian relations and expanding areas of cooperation to serve mutual interests.

Both sides reaffirmed the importance of maintaining continued coordination and consultation on issues of common concern, in a way that contributes to strengthening fraternal relations among Arab nations and enhancing its diplomatic presence in Malaysia.
