Embassy of Iraq in Kuala Lumpur Participates in Graduation Ceremony of Islamic University of Selangor

The Chargé d’Affaires a.i. of the Embassy of the Republic of Iraq in Malaysia, Counselor Dr. Hudhaifa Zead Mahmoud, participated on Wednesday, 12 August 2026, in the graduation ceremony for undergraduate and postgraduate students of the Islamic University of Selangor.

The ceremony was attended by a number of Malaysian officials and academic figures and featured the honoring of graduates from Bachelor’s, Master’s, and Doctoral programmes across various disciplines, in the presence of theUniversity’s Honorary President, Duli yang Maha Mulia Tengku Permaisuri Hajah Norashikin.

The Chargé d’Affaires a.i. reaffirmed the Embassy’s commitment to strengthening cultural and academic communication and cooperation with Malaysian universities and educational institutions, in a manner that contributes to further developing relations between the two countries. He also extended his congratulations to the graduating students, wishing them continued success and every success in their future endeavors.

The Chargé d’Affaires a.i. also met with the University’s President, Dato’  Professor Dr. Mohd Farid Ravi Abdullah, who expressed his appreciation for the participation of the Embassy of Iraq in the University’s academic events.

The Chargé d’Affaires a.i. extended an invitation to the University President and members of the academic staff to visit the Embassy.

Counselor Ahmed Ghanim Abdul Jabbar accompanied the Chargé d’Affaires a.i. during the event.
