Chargé d’Affaires a.i. Participates in the International Science Diplomacy Program at UCSI University in Kuala Lumpur.

The Chargé d’Affaires a.i. of the Embassy of the Republic of Iraq in Kuala Lumpur, Counsellor Ahmed Ghanim Abdul Jabbar, participated on 23 June 2026 in the International Capacity-Building Program entitled “Science Diplomacy for the Global South”, organized by the International Institute of Science Diplomacy and Sustainability (IISDS) at UCSI University in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.
The participation came in response to an official invitation extended by the organizing institution. The opening ceremony was attended by government officials, experts, and specialists from sixteen countries, including Iraq, alongside representatives from a number of Asian, African, and European nations.
The Program aims to promote international cooperation in the field of science diplomacy, facilitate the exchange of expertise among participating countries, and support joint efforts to address global challenges, particularly those facing countries of the Global South.
