Chargé d’Affaires ad interim Meets Accredited Ambassador of the Republic of Tajikistan to Malaysia to Explore Cooperation Opportunities.

The Chargé d’Affaires ad interim of the Embassy of the Republic of Iraq in Kuala Lumpur, Counsellor Ahmed Ghanim Abduljabbar, met on 27 February 2026 with H.E. Ardasher S. Qodiri, Ambassador of the Republic of Tajikistan to Malaysia, to discuss ways to strengthen bilateral relations between Iraq and Tajikistan, with a focus on opportunities for cooperation in the economic, trade, and cultural fields.

Both sides also exchanged views on regional and international issues of mutual interest, affirming their commitment to enhancing the partnership between the two countries, building upon the historical and cultural ties between their peoples, and further reinforced through cooperation within joint Islamic and international organizations.
