The Embassy of the Republic of Iraq in Kuala Lumpur Receives the Delegation of the Iraqi Students’ Association at UCSI and Reaffirms Its Support for Academic Initiatives

As part of the Embassy’s commitment to enhancing engagement with the Iraqi student community in Malaysia, the Chargé d’Affaires a.i. of the Embassy of the Republic of Iraq in Kuala Lumpur, Counselor Ahmed Ghanim AbdulJabbar, received the delegation of the Iraqi Students’ Association at Universiti Putra Malaysia (UCSI), headed by the Association’s supervisor, Dr. Ammar Al-Talib.

The meeting was attended by the Cultural Attaché, Dr. Abduljalil Mohammed Majeed, and the Embassy’s Counselor, Mrs. Ghada AbdulJabbar.

During the meeting, the Chargé d’Affaires a.i. emphasized the important role Iraqi students play in representing their country honorably within international academic institutions. He commended the Association’s initiatives and its programs designed to support new students, reaffirming the Embassy’s commitment to addressing any challenges they may encounter and to following up on their needs in coordination with the relevant authorities.

The two sides also discussed avenues to further enhance cooperation between the Embassy and the Association, with the aim of fostering an effective academic environment for Iraqi students pursuing their studies in Malaysia.

At the conclusion of the meeting, the delegation expressed their gratitude to the Embassy for its continuous support and affirmed their dedication to implementing programs that contribute to advancing the academic and professional development of Iraqi students at USCI.
