The Embassy of the Republic of Iraq in Kuala Lumpur Participates in the Opening of EXPO ASIAN 2025
On 11 November 2025, the Embassy of the Republic of Iraq in Kuala Lumpur participated in the official opening ceremony of EXPO ASIAN 2025, which was organized by the Ministry of Transport of Malaysia in collaboration with Alpine Integrated Solution Sdn. Bhd., and whose activities will continue until 13 November 2025.
The Embassy was represented at the event by Mr. Ahmed Ghanem Abdul Jabbar, Chargé d’Affaires a.i.
The opening ceremony was attended by H.E. Mr. Anthony Loke, Minister of Transport of Malaysia, along with a number of senior executives in the transport sector, as well as heads and representatives of diplomatic missions accredited in Kuala Lumpur.
In his remarks, Minister Loke emphasized the importance of developing Malaysia’s transport sector and strengthening cooperation with international companies and institutions in areas of technical expertise and modern technology. He also highlighted the role of the exhibition as a strategic platform to promote sustainable transport, digital initiatives, and logistical innovations.
The Minister noted that EXPO ASIAN 2025 serves as a platform for companies involved in various transport-related solutions to showcase their services, especially digital solutions for the industry. TXA 2025, themed “Future on the Move: Digital, Sustainable Transport, Agile Logistics and ESG-Driven Supply Chains,” reflects the major trends shaping the future of the transport and logistics sector in Malaysia and across the ASEAN region, and underscores four transformative strategies that will guide the industry in the years ahead.
The exhibition witnessed wide participation from both local and international companies, including those from China, Indonesia, Poland, Germany, the United States, and Singapore, in addition to Malaysian companies. The event features more than 100 exhibiting companies, 3,000 trade visitors, and over 1,000 international participants, reflecting its significance as a global platform in the transport sector.
