The Embassy of the Republic of Iraq in Kuala Lumpur Holds a Celebration on the Occasion of the National Day.

The Embassy of the Republic of Iraq in Malaysia marked the Iraqi National Day on 3 October 2025, with the participation of the Embassy staff and the Cultural Attaché.

The Chargé d’Affaires a.i., Counselor Ahmed Ghanim AbdulJabbar, delivered a speech in which he emphasized that this day represents a moment of renewal in the journey of a nation that founded the earliest civilizations and inscribed its name in the memory of humanity thousands of years ago.

He pointed out that Iraq, with its ancient civilizational legacy and proud people, remains unyielding and continues with confidence toward a prosperous future built by the will and unity of its compatriots.

Mr. Abdul Jabbar also highlighted the importance of the role played by Iraqi communities abroad, considering their attachment to the homeland a message of hope and a reflection of the unity of Iraqis. He affirmed that the National Day represents a call for cohesion and for building bridges among all the people of Iraq.

He concluded his speech by affirming that Iraq will remain “the great home that unites all its compatriots and carries the banner of dignity at all times.
