إلتقى ممثل العراق الدائم لدى مكتب الأمم المتحدة والمنظمات الدولية في جنيف السفير عبد الكريم هاشم مصطفى بالأمين العام للأمم المتحدة السيد انطونيو غوتيرش (Antonio Guterres)، تمهيدا لترؤس العراق الدورة الرابعة لمؤتمر نزع السلاح هذا العام والتي ستعقد اعمالها للمدة من 5 آيار ولغاية 21 حزيران 2024.
تم التأكيد خلال اللقاء على أن رئاسة العراق عازمة على تحقيق تقدم ملموس في مجال تنفيذ الاتفاقيات ذات الصلة والاستمرار في الجهود المشتركة لتعزيز السلم والأمن الدوليين عبر التعاون الدولي والحوار البنّاء.
