Legalization / Documents

1. Required prior certification
 
   Certificates of origin, commercial invoices, product lists, analysis and TUV certificates, including certificates of free sale must be certified by the firm in charge of your Chamber of Commerce.
  
2. Prior certification for documents
 
   All documents, such as :
 
– powers (Power of Attorney) and variations of authorizations
– Agency Contracts (Agency Agreement), confirmations and amendments thereto
– commitments
– From the District Court certified certificates of registration
– applications for tenders
– Notarial certifications
 
   must be certified by the president of your local canton.
   If a copy of a document should be legalized, this is only possible if the original    stamp was affixed of the Swiss authority

A – Trade Documents
1. Commercial invoices and similar must be pre-certified by the chamber of commerce and then by the Chancellery

2. Powers of attorney (power of attorney, letter of authorization) for companies in Iraq must include data on the parties.

NOTE : All above mentioned documents must  be certified by the SWISS FEDERAL CHNCELLERY, otherwise they will not be legalized.

B. legalization process – and fees:
1. A detailed cover letter (original companies sheets DIN A 4) of the accompanying documents and a registered letter with stamps – Prestamped, self-addressed A4 – the back cover are always attached to legalizing documents  .Do not submit photocopies of documents to legalizing the retention in the embassy..
2. The legalization fee from the Consulate is (price in cash) made to our address by post.
