  • Official Representative of parliament of Kurdistan Regional Government of Iraq (KRG) by all women’s organizations, authorized for changing the personal status law on the family Personal status in Kurdistan’s parliament 1992.                               
  • Members of the KRG Parliament green bloc for the PUK 1992-1997.                                                                                                                   
  • Head of the women’s media center specialized in women’s issues 1997.
  • Chief Editor of the newspaper of ‘Zhyanawa’, which supports the feminist Movement in Kurdistan/Iraq 1997.
  • In charge of women organizations for Benelux states and Germany  2004.
  • Counselor in the Embassy of the Republic of Iraq in the Hague/Netherlands 2005-2009.
  • Deputy of the Head of Department of Human Rights / Ministry of Foreign Affairs headquarters 2009-2012.
  • Minister Plenipotentiary and temporary Chargé D’Affaires in the Embassy of the Republic of Iraq in Beirut/Lebanon 2013-2015.
  • Consul General of Iraq in the Consulate General of the Republic of Iraq in Los Angeles 2015-2018.
  • Head of the Human Rights Department at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs 2019.

Political Activities:

  • Member of the Students Union of Kurdistan in Sulaimaniya / Iraq 1972.
  • Political activist who had to hide herself from the Saddam’s Regime, who arrested her husband the martyr Mr. Abdul Jabbar Rashid Mohammed, who used to be the head of the secret organizations of the Patriotic Union of Kurdistan (PUK) in the city of Sulaymaniyah from 1986 until the ‘Intifada” in 1991.
  • Member of the Patriotic Union of Kurdistan (PUK) 1991-2013 Participation in all the study and cultural conferences and sessions and Interested in women’s affairs, issues, and the feminist movement In KRG
  • The yearly Participation in the CSW meetings (Commission on the Status of Women) New York 2011-2012.
  • Participation in the Universal Periodic Review of Iraq at the Human Rights Council, Genève 2010-2013 -2019-2020.
