استقبل القائم بالأعمال المؤقت للقنصلية العامة لجمهورية العراق في هيوستن، السيد قتيبة خالد صالح، يوم الاربعاء الموافق 14 تشرين الأول 2026، السيد أندرو رياردون، الوكيل الخاص في دائرة الأمن الدبلوماسي بوزارة الخارجية الأميركية، مكتب هيوستن الميداني.

وجرى خلال اللقاء بحث احتياجات القنصلية ومتطلباتها، وسبل تعزيز التعاون في مجالات السلامة والأمن، وتنسيق الإجراءات الكفيلة بتوفير بيئة عمل آمنة ومستقرة للموظفين والمراجعين، بما يضمن انسيابية عمل البعثة الدبلوماسية.

The Chargé d’Affaires of the Consulate of Iraq in Houston Receives an Official from the U.S. Diplomatic Security Service

The Chargé d’Affaires of the Consulate General of the Republic of Iraq in Houston, Mr. Qutaiba Khaled Salih, received on Wednesday, 14 October 2026, Mr. Andrew Reardon, Special Agent with the Diplomatic Security Service of the U.S. Department of State, Houston Field Office.

During the meeting, the two sides discussed the consulate’s needs and requirements, as well as ways to enhance cooperation in the areas of safety and security. They also reviewed measures aimed at ensuring a safe and stable working environment for staff and visitors, in a manner that supports the smooth and uninterrupted functioning of the diplomatic mission.
