زيارة رسمية لعميد السلك القنصلي إلى القنصلية العامة لجمهورية العراق في هيوستن

استقبل القائم بالأعمال المؤقت، السيد قتيبة خالد صالح، في مقر القنصلية العامة لجمهورية العراق في هيوستن، يوم 4/5/2026، عميد السلك القنصلي، القنصل العام لجمهورية ألمانيا الاتحادية السيد كاي هينِّغ (Kai Hennig)، يرافقه القنصل العام الفخري لجمهورية بنغلاديش في هيوستن ورئيس مكتب السلك القنصلي، السيد مارتي مكفي (Marty McVey)، وذلك في إطار زيارة رسمية تهدف إلى تعزيز التعاون والتنسيق بين البعثات الدبلوماسية.

وجرى خلال اللقاء بحث سبل تطوير العمل الدبلوماسي وتبادل وجهات النظر حول عدد من القضايا ذات الاهتمام المشترك، بما يسهم في تعزيز العلاقات الثنائية ومتعددة الأطراف وخدمة المصالح المشتركة.
وتأتي هذه الزيارة ضمن الجهود المستمرة لتعزيز قنوات التواصل بين البعثات الدبلوماسية العاملة في هيوستن، وتوطيد العلاقات المهنية فيما بينها.

The Chargé d’Affaires ad interim, Mr. Qutaiba Khaled Salih, received at the premises of the Consulate General of the Republic of Iraq in Houston on May 4, 2026, the Dean of the Consular Corps, the Consul General of the Federal Republic of Germany, Mr. Kai Hennig, accompanied by the Honorary Consul General of the People’s Republic of Bangladesh in Houston and Chief of Staff of the Consular Corps, Mr. Marty McVey, as part of an official visit aimed at enhancing cooperation and coordination among diplomatic missions.

During the meeting, the participants discussed ways to develop diplomatic work and exchanged views on a number of issues of mutual interest, contributing to the strengthening of bilateral and multilateral relations and the advancement of shared interests.
This visit comes within the ongoing efforts to enhance channels of communication between diplomatic missions in Houston and to further strengthen professional relations among them.
