القائم بالأعمال المؤقت يشارك في ندوة حول الدبلوماسية الحديثة في هيوستن

شارك القائم بالأعمال المؤقت في القنصلية العامة لجمهورية العراق في تكساس – هيوستن، السيد قتيبة خالد صالح بتاريخ 28/4/2026، في الندوة الحوارية التي نظمها السلك القنصلي بالتعاون مع جمعية الأمم المتحدة في هيوستن، تحت عنوان “دور الدبلوماسية الحديثة”، وذلك بحضور عدد من رؤساء البعثات الدبلوماسية والقناصل العامين.

وتناولت الندوة أهمية الدبلوماسية المعاصرة في تعزيز الحوار والتفاهم بين الدول، ودورها في مواجهة التحديات العالمية الراهنة، فضلاً عن تبادل وجهات النظر حول سبل تطوير العمل الدبلوماسي بما يخدم المصالح المشتركة.

وشكلت هذه المشاركة فرصة لتوطيد العلاقات مع البعثات الدبلوماسية والمنظمات الدولية، وتعزيز حضور العراق في المحافل الدبلوماسية والثقافية في مدينة هيوستن.

The Chargé d’Affaires a.i. at the Consulate General of the Republic of Iraq in Texas – Houston, Mr. Qutaiba Khaled Salih, participated on April 28, 2026, in a panel discussion organized by the Consular Corps of Houston in cooperation with the United Nations Association in Houston, under the title “The Role of Modern Diplomacy,” with the attendance of a number of heads of diplomatic missions and Consuls General.

The discussion addressed the importance of contemporary diplomacy in promoting dialogue and mutual understanding among nations, as well as its role in addressing current global challenges. It also provided a platform for exchanging views on ways to develop diplomatic work in a manner that serves common interests.

This participation also represented an opportunity to strengthen relations with diplomatic missions and international organizations, and to enhance Iraq’s presence in diplomatic and cultural forums in the city of Houston
