القائم بالأعمال المؤقت يزور جامعة هيوستن

شارك القائم بالأعمال المؤقت في القنصلية العامة لجمهورية العراق في تكساس – هيوستن، السيد قتيبة خالد صالح، يوم الجمعة الموافق 16/1/2026، في زيارة ميدانية إلى جامعة هيوستن، نظّمها السلك القنصلي بمشاركة عدد من القنصليات الأخرى.

وخلال الزيارة، اطلع السيد القائم بالأعمال على تاريخ الجامعة ومسيرتها التعليمية، واستمع إلى شرح مفصل من المسؤولين حول البرامج الأكاديمية والبحثية التي تقدمها الجامعة. كما شملت الزيارة جولة ميدانية في أروقة وبنايات الجامعة، للتعرف عن قرب على مرافقها الحديثة والخدمات المقدمة للطلاب والباحثين.

وتأتي هذه الزيارة في إطار الأنشطة الميدانية التي ينظمها السلك القنصلي للتعرف على المؤسسات التعليمية والثقافية في مدينة

The Chargé d’Affaires a.i. at the Consulate General of the Republic of Iraq in Texas – Houston, Mr. Qutaiba Khaled Salih, participated on Friday, January 16, 2026, in a field visit to the University of Houston, organized by the consular corps with the participation of several other consulates.

During the visit, the Chargé d’Affaires reviewed the university’s history and educational journey and listened to a detailed briefing by officials on the academic and research programs offered by the university. The visit also included a tour of the university’s corridors and buildings to learn more about its modern facilities and the services provided to students and researchers.

This visit is part of the field activities organized by the consular corps to learn about the educational and cultural institutions in the city of Houston.
