القائم بالأعمال المؤقت يشارك في افتتاح القنصلية العامة لفنلندا

شاركت القنصلية العامة لجمهورية العراق في تكساس – هيوستن، بدعوة رسمية من قبل القنصل العام الفنلندي، السفير ستيفن لندستروم في مراسم افتتاح القنصلية العامة لفنلندا في هيوستن، بتاريخ 15/12/2025، مثّلها القائم بالأعمال المؤقت السيد قتيبة خالد صالح. وشهد الحفل حضور وزيرة خارجية ولاية تكساس السيدة جين نيلسون، وسفيرة فنلندا لدى الولايات المتحدة الأمريكية السيدة لينا–كايسا ميكولا، إلى جانب عدد من كبار المسؤولين والدبلوماسيين. وأُلقيت خلال المناسبة كلمات أكدت أهمية تعزيز العلاقات الثنائية والتعاون الدبلوماسي، بما يخدم المصالح المشتركة ويعزز التواصل مع المؤسسات المحلية في ولاية تكساس.

The Consulate General of the Republic of Iraq in Texas – Houston participated, upon an official invitation from the Finnish Consul General, Ambassador Stefan Lindström, in the opening ceremony of the Consulate General of Finland-Houston on 15 December 2025. The Consulate was represented by the Chargé d’Affaires a.i., Mr. Qutaiba Khaled Salih.
The ceremony was attended by the Texas Secretary of State, H.E. Jane Nelson, and the Ambassador of Finland to the United States of America, H.E. Leena–Kaisa Mikkola, along with a number of senior officials and diplomats.
Speeches delivered during the occasion emphasized the importance of strengthening bilateral relations and diplomatic cooperation, in a manner that serves mutual interests and enhances engagement with local institutions in the State of Texas.
