حضارة الأورارتو

تكوَّنت في شرق البحر المتوسط، وصولاً إلى الجنوب الغربيّ لبحر قزوين، وتحديدًا في الهضبة الأرمينيَّة.
وعُرِفَ اسمها من اللغة الآشورية التي أطلقت عليها هذه التسميَّة.
وقد عاش أبناء هذه الحضارة في المناطق الجبليَّة الصخريَّة، لذا تميّزوا بفن النقش على الأحجار، وكان لهذه الميزة الفضل في معرفتنا لطريقة حياتهم آنذاك.

Urartu civilization

It was formed in the eastern Mediterranean, down to the southwest of the Caspian Sea, specifically in the Armenian plateau.
Its name is known from the Assyrian language, which gave it this name.
The people of this civilization lived in the rocky mountainous areas, so they were distinguished by the art of engraving on stones, and this feature was the reason for our knowledge of their way of life at the time.
