ماذا تعرف عن حضارة المايا:

هناك بعيدًا في أميركا الوسطى، وتحديدًا في المكسيك، أُقيمت حضارة عريقة من الحضارات الإنسانيَّة التي لا تزال آثارها شامخة حتى يومنا هذا، وذلك بحوالي 2000 عام قبل الميلاد، وتلك الحضارة هي حضارة “المايا”، وكان أبناء هذه الحضارة يتحدثون اللغة الماياوية بلهجاتها المُختلِفة، وقد عرفوا الطب والهندسة المعماريَّة وأنظمة الرياضيات، فضلاً عن معرفتهم الدقيقة بعلم الفلك ودراسة النجوم وفصول السنة، ناهيك عن ترحالهم وتداولهم للتبادل الاقتصاديّ في الأميركيتين بشكل عام.

Far away in Central America, specifically in Mexico, there was an ancient civilization whose traces are still seen until this day, 2000 BC, it’s called the “Mayan” civilization, whose people spoke different dialects of Mayan. They knew medicine, architecture, and mathematics, not to mention their deep accurate knowledge of astronomy and the study of the stars and the seasons of the year. They were also known for their traveling and economic exchange on both American continents.
