وزير الخارجية فؤاد حسين يصل إلى الكويت في زيارة رسمية

وصل وزير الخارجية، السيد فؤاد حسين، مساء الأربعاء الموافق 8 تموز 2026، إلى دولة الكويت على رأس وفدٍ رسمي رفيع المستوى، يضم مستشار الأمن القومي السيد قاسم العبودي، ومحافظ البصرة السيد أسعد العيداني، ووكيل وزارة الخارجية لشؤون العلاقات الثنائية السيد محمد حسين بحر العلوم، وعدداً من السفراء.

وكان في استقبال السيد الوزير والوفد المرافق وزير خارجية دولة الكويت، الشيخ جراح جابر الأحمد الصباح.

ومن المقرر أن يجري السيد الوزير خلال الزيارة مباحثات مع كبار المسؤولين في دولة الكويت، لبحث سبل تطوير العلاقات الثنائية في مختلف المجالات، إلى جانب مناقشة أبرز التطورات الإقليمية والدولية وتبادل وجهات النظر بشأن القضايا ذات الاهتمام المشترك، بما يسهم في تعزيز الأمن والاستقرار في المنطقة.

FM Fuad Hussein Arrives in Kuwait on an Official Visit

Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Iraq, H.E. Mr. Fuad Hussein, arrived in the State of Kuwait on the evening of Wednesday, 8 July 2026, at the head of a high-level official delegation that includes the National Security Adviser, Mr. Qasim Al-Aboudi; the Governor of Basra, Mr. Asaad Al-Eidani; the Deputy for Bilateral Relations of MOFA, Mr. Mohammed Hussein Bahr Al-Uloom; and a number of ambassadors. H.E. the Minister and the accompanying delegation were received by the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the State of Kuwait, H.E. Sheikh Jarrah Jaber Al-Ahmad Al-Sabah.

During the visit, H.E. the Minister is scheduled to hold talks with senior Kuwaiti officials to discuss ways of further developing bilateral relations across various fields. The discussions will also cover the latest regional and international developments, as well as an exchange of views on issues of mutual interest, in a manner that contributes to enhancing security and stability in the region.
