وزير الخارجية يصل إلى عمّان للمشاركة في اجتماع مجلس جامعة الدول العربية على المستوى الوزاري

وصل وزير الخارجية، السيد فؤاد حسين، مساء يوم الأحد الموافق 21 حزيران 2026، إلى العاصمة الأردنية عمّان، للمشاركة في أعمال الاجتماع المستأنف للدورة العادية (165) لمجلس جامعة الدول العربية على مستوى وزراء الخارجية، المقرر عقده يوم الاثنين.
ومن المقرر أن يبحث الاجتماع عدداً من القضايا ذات الاهتمام المشترك، والتطورات السياسية والأمنية التي تشهدها المنطقة، فضلاً عن الموضوعات المدرجة على جدول أعمال المجلس.
كما يسبق الجلسة الوزارية الرسمية اجتماع تشاوري لوزراء الخارجية العرب، يهدف إلى تنسيق المواقف وتبادل وجهات النظر بشأن القضايا المطروحة، بما يسهم في تعزيز العمل العربي المشترك ودعم الجهود الرامية إلى مواجهة التحديات الإقليمية الراهنة.
ومن المقرر أن يشهد الاجتماع مناقشة عدد من البنود المدرجة على جدول الأعمال، وفي مقدمتها إقرار تعيين وزير الخارجية المصري الأسبق، السيد نبيل فهمي، أميناً عاماً لجامعة الدول العربية، وذلك استناداً إلى التفويض الصادر عن القادة العرب خلال القمة العربية الأخيرة.
FM Arrives in Amman to Participate in the Arab League Council Meeting at the Ministerial Level
Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Iraq, H.E. Mr. Fuad Hussein, arrived in Amman, the capital of Jordan, on Sunday evening, 21 June 2026, to participate in the resumed proceedings of the 165th Ordinary Session of the Council of the League of Arab States at the level of Foreign Ministers, scheduled to be held on Monday.
The meeting is expected to address a number of issues of common concern, as well as the political and security developments taking place in the region, in addition to the items included on the Council’s agenda.
Prior to the official ministerial session, Arab foreign ministers will hold a consultative meeting aimed at coordinating positions and exchanging views on the issues under discussion, thereby contributing to the enhancing of joint Arab action and supporting efforts to address the current regional challenges.
The meeting is also expected to discuss a number of agenda items, foremost among them the approval of the appointment of former Egyptian Foreign Minister Mr. Nabil Fahmy as Secretary-General of the League of Arab States, based on the mandate granted by Arab leaders during the most recent Arab Summit.
