وزير الخارجية يلتقي وزير الدولة في الوزارة الاتحادية الألمانية لِلتَّنْمِيَة والتعاون الاِقْتِصَادِي فِي مُيُونِخ

التقى نائب رئيس مجلس الوزراء، وزير الخارجية، السيد فؤاد حسين، يوم السبت الموافق 14 شباط 2026، وزيرَ الدولة في الوزارة الاتحادية الألمانية للتنمية والتعاون الاقتصادي، السيد نيلز أنين، وذلك على هامش أعمال الدورة الثانية والستين من مؤتمر ميونخ للأمن.

وفي مستهل اللقاء، أشاد السيد الوزير بمتانة العلاقات الثنائية بين البلدين، ومستوى التعاون القائم، مؤكدًا أهمية تعزيز الشراكة في المجالات التنموية والاقتصادية، لا سيما في ظل الجهود التي تبذلها الحكومة لمواجهة التحديات الاقتصادية، ودعم مسارات التنمية، وتمكين القطاع الخاص، وتوسيع الفرص الاستثمارية الواعدة في العراق.

من جانبه، أعرب السيد أنين عن اهتمام الحكومة الألمانية بتعزيز التعاون مع العراق، واستمرار تقديم الدعم في المجالات التنموية والاقتصادية، بما يسهم في خلق فرص العمل، ودعم القطاع الخاص، والمساندة في معالجة آثار التغير المناخي.

كما استعرض السيد الوزير مجمل التطورات السياسية في العراق والمنطقة، بما في ذلك الإجراءات المرتبطة بتشكيل الحكومة العراقية الجديدة وفق الاستحقاقات الدستورية، فضلاً عن حالة الاستقرار الأمني التي تحققت في البلاد خلال السنوات الماضية.

Minister of Foreign Affairs Meets German Federal Minister of State for Economic Cooperation and Development in Munich

Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs, H.E. Mr. Fuad Hussein, met on Saturday, 14 February 2026, with the Minister of State at the German Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development, H.E. Mr. Niels Annen, on the sidelines of the 62nd Munich Security Conference.

At the outset of the meeting, H.E. commended the strength of bilateral relations between the two countries and the level of existing cooperation, underscoring the importance of further enhancing the partnership in development and economic fields. He highlighted the government’s efforts to address economic challenges, support development pathways, empower the private sector, and expand promising investment opportunities in Iraq.

For his part, H.E. Mr. Annen expressed the German government’s interest in strengthening cooperation with Iraq and continuing to provide support in development and economic sectors, contributing to job creation, private sector support, and assistance in addressing the impacts of climate change.

The meeting also covered overall political developments in Iraq and the region, including procedures related to the formation of the new Iraqi government in accordance with constitutional requirements, as well as the security stability achieved in the country in recent years.
