استقبل نائب رئيس مجلس الوزراء ووزير الخارجية، السيد فؤاد حسين، يوم السبت الموافق 2026/4/26، في مقر إقامته بالعاصمة الأمريكية واشنطن، السفير الأمريكي الأسبق لدى العراق، السيد زلماي خليل زاده.

وجرى خلال اللقاء استعراض نتائج زيارة السيد زاده الأخيرة إلى بغداد وإقليم كردستان العراق، حيث تناول اللقاء أبرز ما تم بحثه مع المسؤولين العراقيين.

كما ناقش الجانبان تطورات الأوضاع الإقليمية، والمفاوضات الجارية بين الجمهورية الإسلامية الإيرانية والولايات المتحدة الأمريكية، مؤكدين أهمية التوصل إلى نتائج إيجابية تساهم في تعزيز الاستقرار والأمن الإقليمي والدولي.

Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs M. Fuad Hussein received the former US Ambassador to Iraq Zalmay Khalilzad at his residence in Washington, DC, on Saturday, April 26, 2026.

They reviewed the results of Khalilzad’s recent visit to Baghdad and the Kurdistan Region of Iraq, and addressed the most significant issues discussed with the Iraqi officials.

Both sides also discussed the regional developments and the current negotiations between the Islamic Republic of Iran and the United States, emphasizing the importance for reaching positive results that contribute to enhance the stability and regional and international security.
