نائب رئيس مجلس الوزراء ووزير الخارجية يستقبل رئيس معهد الخليج العربي للبحوث في واشنطن

استقبل نائب رئيس مجلس الوزراء ووزير الخارجية، السيد فؤاد حسين، يوم السبت الموافق 2025/4/26، في مقر إقامته بالعاصمة الأمريكية واشنطن، رئيس معهد الخليج العربي للبحوث والسفير الأمريكي السابق، السيد دوغلاس سيليمان.

وجرى خلال اللقاء استعراض الأوضاع في العراق والمنطقة، حيث عبّر السيد سيليمان عن سعادته بالاستقرار الذي يشهده العراق، مشيداً بدوره الإقليمي الفاعل. كما تمت مناقشة أهمية الزيارة المرتقبة للرئيس الأمريكي دونالد ترامب إلى دول الخليج العربي، وأبعادها المحتملة على الأوضاع الإقليمية.

وقدم السيد دوغلاس خلال اللقاء شرحاً مفصلًا حول آخر التطورات المتعلقة بسياسة واشنطن إزاء عدد من القضايا الإقليمية والدولية.

Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs Mr. Fuad Hussein received at his residence in Washington, DC, the President of the Arab Gulf Research Institute and former US Ambassador Douglas Silliman on Saturday, April 26, 2025.

During the meeting, they discussed the situation in Iraq and the region. Mr. Silliman expressed his pleasure with the stability in Iraq, praising Iraq’s active regional role. They also discussed the significance of US President Donald Trump’s upcoming visit to the Gulf States and its potential effects on the regional situations.
