نائب رئيسِ مجلسِ الوزراءِ ووزير الخارجية فؤاد حسين يستقبلُ نظيرَهُ اليمنيَّ على هامشِ منتدى أنطاليا الدبلوماسي

استقبلَ نائبُ رئيسِ مجلسِ الوزراءِ ووزيرُ الخارجية ، السيِّد فؤاد حسين، يومَ الجمعة الموافق 11 نيسان 2025، في مقرِّ إقامته بمدينة أنطاليا، وزيرَ الخارجيَّةِ وشؤونِ المغتربين في جمهوريَّةِ اليمن الشقيقة، الدكتور شائع محسن الزنداني.

في مستهلِّ اللقاء، أوضح الوزيرُ الزنداني أنَّ طلبَهُ للاجتماع جاء لتوضيح أنَّ التصريحاتِ التي أدلى بها وزيرُ الإعلامِ والثقافةِ والسياحةِ اليمني، معمر الإرياني، عبرَ منصة “إكس”، والتي تضمَّنت مزاعمَ غير دقيقة أشار فيها إلى “تمكُّنِ من وصفهم بميليشيا الحوثي الإرهابية من توسيع أنشطتهم في العراق بالتنسيق مع الفصائل العراقية”، لا تُعبِّرُ عن موقفِ الحكومةِ اليمنيَّةِ ولا رئاسةِ الجمهوريَّة وهي تصريحات شخصية، مؤكِّداً استحالةَ صدورِ أيِّ موقفٍ رسميٍّ يمسُّ العلاقاتِ العراقيَّةَ-اليمنيَّةَ.

وجرى خلال اللقاء تبادلُ وجهاتِ النظرِ حول عددٍ من القضايا الإقليميَّة والدوليَّة ذاتِ الاهتمامِ المشترك، حيث قدَّم الوزيرُ اليمنيُّ عرضاً حول آخرِ التطوُّراتِ الأمنيَّةِ والسياسيَّةِ في اليمن، معرباً عن تقديرِ بلادهِ لدورِ العراق في دعمِ الاستقرارِ في المنطقة.

من جانبه، أعرب السيِّد فؤاد حسين عن قلقِ العراقِ إزاءَ استمرارِ الأوضاعِ المضطربةِ في اليمن، مؤكِّداً دعمَ بغدادَ للحلولِ السياسيَّةِ والحوارِ اليمنيِّ–اليمنيِّ كسبيلٍ وحيدٍ لتحقيقِ السلامِ الدائم، مشيداً في الوقتِ نفسه بالعلاقاتِ التاريخيَّةِ التي تربطُ البلدينِ الشقيقين.

وفي سياقٍ متصل، أكَّد الوزيرُ الزنداني أنَّ الرئيسَ اليمنيَّ سيشاركُ في القمَّةِ العربيَّةِ المقبلةِ المزمعِ عقدُها في بغداد، مُعرباً عن دعمِ اليمن الكاملِ للعراق في إنجاحِ هذا الحدثِ العربيِّ الهامّ.

بدوره، أشار السيِّد فؤاد حسين إلى أنَّ بغدادَ ستُسخِّرُ جميعَ الإمكاناتِ اللازمةِ لضمانِ نجاحِ القمَّة، بما يُعزِّزُ التضامنَ العربيَّ ويخدمُ القضايا المشتركة.

Deputy Prime Minister And Minister of Foreign Affairs Mr.Fuad Hussein Receives His Yemeni Counterpart on the Sidelines of Antalya Diplomatic Forum

Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs Mr. Fuad Hussein received the Minister of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates of the Republic of Yemen, Dr. Shaye Mohsen Al-Zindani, at his residence in Antalya on Friday, April 11, 2025.

At the beginning of the meeting, Minister AL-Zindani explained that his request for the meeting came to clarify that the statements made by the Yemeni Minister of Information, Culture, and Tourism, Muammar Al-Eryani, via the “X” platform, which included inaccurate allegations indicating that “those described as the terrorist Houthi militia have been able to expand their activities in Iraq in coordination with Iraqi factions,” do not reflect the stance of the Yemeni government or the presidency. These statements are personal, he emphasized, the impossibility of issuing any official stance that would affect the Iraqi-Yemeni relations.

During the meeting, both sides exchanged the views about a number of regional and international issues of common interest. The Yemeni Minister presented a presentation on the latest security and political developments in Yemen, expressing his country’s appreciation to Iraq in supporting the stability in the region.

For his part, Mr. Fuad Hussein expressed Iraq’s concern about the continuing turbulent situation in Yemen, affirming Baghdad’s support for the political solutions and Yemeni-Yemeni dialogue as the only way to achieve lasting peace. He also praised the historical relations between the two brotherly countries.

In a related context, Minister AL-Zindani confirmed that the Yemeni president will participate in the upcoming Arab Summit scheduled to be held in Baghdad, expressing Yemen’s full support for Iraq in ensuring the success of this important Arab event.

For his part, Mr. Fuad Hussein indicated that Baghdad will prepare all the necessary capabilities to ensure the success of the summit, strengthening the Arab solidarity and serving common causes.
