نائب رئيس مجلس الوزراء وزير الخارجية يلتقي مستشار الأمن القومي البريطاني في لندن

التقى نائب رئيس مجلس الوزراء وزير الخارجية، السيد فؤاد حسين، يوم الأربعاء الموافق 15 كانون الثاني 2025، مستشار الأمن القومي البريطاني، السيد جوناتان باول.

جرى خلال اللقاء مناقشة مجموعة من القضايا المتعلقة بالعلاقات الثنائية بين العراق والمملكة المتحدة، إضافة إلى الوضع الأمني العام في منطقة الشرق الأوسط، والتطورات المرتبطة بسوريا وتأثيراتها على الدول المجاورة.

أكد السيد فؤاد حسين على ضرورة مراقبة تحركات تنظيم داعش الإرهابي، مشيراً إلى أهمية معالجة أوضاع السجون الواقعة تحت سيطرة قوات سوريا الديمقراطية وخطورة احتمالية فرار عناصر داعش من هذه السجون.

Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Meets British National Security Adviser in London

Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Mr. Fuad Hussein met with the British National Security Adviser Mr. Jonathan Powell, on 15 January 2025.

The meeting dealt with a range of issues related to bilateral relations between Iraq and the United Kingdom, in addition to the general security situation in the Middle East, and the developments related to Syria and its effects on neighboring countries.

Minister Hussein underlined the need to monitor the movements of Da’esh terrorist organization, and indicated the importance of addressing the conditions of prisons under the control of the Syrian Democratic Forces, and the possible threat of Da’esh members escaping from these prisons.
