Iraqi diplomacy is actively involved in the inclusion of the city of Babylon in the World Heritage List

The great efforts exerted by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs with the Ministry of Culture and other parties culminated in the vote on the inclusion of the ancient city of Babylon in the World Heritage List.

The Minister stressed on that great efforts have been exerted to achieve this historic achievement praising the efforts of all ministries, especially the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, and the embassies of Iraq in various countries of the world that have actively contributed in mobilizing the international community and urging it to support Iraq, revealing that the Iraqi diplomacy will continue its efforts to include other historical sites and getting the international support, congratulating the Iraqi people with this great historical achievement.
